Oh, I love that cover. I totally hear you on the joy of a good vintage look that doesn't give the game away.
Also: I'd love to start having chats with fellow writers on my BookTube, so maybe we can set something up nearer to your book launch for this one - a time to talk shop about the industries of lit we've moved through, and our frank thoughts about indie publishing in the current media landscape? Either way, congrats on nearing that launch date!
Love the cover! Has a sense of depth and mystery and a touch of old sci-fi while still feeling modern. Great color selection. In combination with your blurb I think it works well!
The colours really pop, imo! Still debating on what colour to pick for the spine. Green (from the small hint of it in the bottom left), yellow, orange, or no contrasting spine at all... if we go with yellow it'll remind me of those old DAW paperbacks.
Full review tomorrow!

Thanks so much!
Yeah, I'm down, that sounds like a great idea! Keep me in the loop!
Blurb sold me
Nice!
I love your cover and I think this version of your blurb is much stronger. I look forward to reading it!

I might experiment with that cool pattern bleeding over into the spine. You may need to beef up the type a bit for contrast though.
Oh yeah, I agree. Considering the cover went through so many iterations, the spine/back likely will go through a couple.
Gorgeous cover and the blurb works. I'm very intrigued!
Thanks! Glad to hear it.
Looks great!
Thank you so much!
