The photo is one I took under some random bridge in Toronto, "The Plaza" is just a reference to the nickname for the local dump, where you can find some cool stuff!
Hey there. Our venn diagrams don't totally intersect and this is as cold as a cold comment can be, but _do you need (or want) help_?
I'm a great-recession-era English major who noped into librarianship then ended-up in software engineering, where I am now. I feel mortal and so I'm always involved in tons of projects that mostly hit their deadlines, and I was briefly an assistant editor for my college's paper (and also one of the midnight DJs) - and I've never done, but have always daydreamed, about jamming with someone on a zine. I'm not really interested posting my own work, rather I kind of just want to help make it real. Oh, and my inner monologue is Tom Waits.
Anyway, I'm a rando, but thought I'd volunteer some time.
Hi Lisa! Curious, is there a deadline on that or are you playing that by ear? i luuuv the zine's name!
I'll probably keep it open through August, I got more submissions than I thought I would so that's really exciting!
I am quite interested in this.
Just sent you something from a rural plaza.
Awesome! You'll hear from me soon
I’ve got an idea for this.
Awesome! I can't wait to read it!
I can’t wait to write it …
Oh!
Yeah!
All right, all right,
(Psst, this is where you say "All right!")
Fuck!
I mean,
ALL RIGHT
Fashionably late.
Would contributors be able to get some copies ?
Yeah absolutely!
Oh and where is The Plaza? Place looks sick

It’s cool cuz essentially there are “Plazas” everywhere, in every grimy but yet endearing corners.
Exactly!

Woops. Sorry for the double comment. Substack wigged-out on me.
