Welcome to Mechanical Pulp, where I sometimes post my photography. Words? Who needs ‘em? (Me, I do, but humour me today.)
Locations mentioned where I remember, as well as film stock/camera in the captions. As always, if you want to use any for a writing prompt or something just credit me/tag me in the post. If the email is truncated, click “view entire message” or open in browser.
The next four are all Santa Fe NM, Minolta X700, Wolfen UN54:
Now, here’s some fun: These next ones are all taken on a really neat film stock, Lomography’s LomoChrome Purple XR. Depending on how the film is exposed, the colour changes can be really wild! I love how they all turned out. All are taken with a Yashica-A TLR. (The first two are the exact same spot on the highway, but facing different directions!)
Did not know how much I needed film photography of my old homestate in my life. Used to drive 3+ hours from ABQ with my dad to fish the Santa Rosa reservoir. Gorgeous stuff Lisa!
These are wonderful, Lisa. Thanks for adding some new perspectives to some old memories of long-ago travels.
