Yes, this is a bit of a departure from my normal posts—no writing from me today (if it makes you feel better, I’ve been editing… check out last week’s post for details) but feel free to use any of these as a writing prompt. Tag/credit me if you do. More text at the end.
Camera: Pentax K1000
Lens: Vivitar 28mm f2.8
Film: Lomography Potsdam Kino 100
I’m no professional photographer. In fact, this is only the second roll of film I’ve shot since 2005/6, back when I was a student (and this is the same camera/lens! I had to replace the old foam, though, so now there’s no light leaks, which is nice.) But I’m really having fun getting back into it and hope to get a lot more practice in, despite the snow on the ground now. Sometimes we need to switch up our creative outlet, keep things fresh in the ol’ noggin. (I also took some colour photos, but I wasn’t sure if including more would be overkill, so I’ll save that roll for another post.)
I really like the film stock. So moody!
Did you like the pictures, did you hate them, got a favourite, tell me to get back to writing, whatever, leave a comment.
Peace!
Love these. I used to not be a fan of b&w and it has really grown on me. I love the church photo!
I love these pictures and feel they are all the starts of wonderful stories! My favorite is the truck through the chainlink fence. I'm not sure why, but that picture stayed with me.
